Our bistro

We wanted to create a neighbourhood bar & bistro that feels welcoming, serves delicious food and offers warm, genuine hospitality.

Somewhere you'll come back to again and again, whether you just fancy popping in for a quick beer, are celebrating something special or in the mood for a great meal and a glass of wine with friends.

Music matters here too. If you listen closely, you'll hear plenty of late 1980s and 1990s CD compilations. And, yes, there's an Acid House playlist in the washrooms.

No gimmicks. No brand story, we’re just doing our own thing and we hope you’ll join us.

Consider Hux your local.

We’re kind of famous for our Sunday Roasts but we have you covered all week… wine features chosen by our Sommelier, Mitchell Aguinaga, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, chef’s menu on Thursdays as well as our daily Happy Hour and infamous weekend late nights.

The Hux Experience

l’apéro

Ease into the evening with good wine, cocktails and a few plates to share. Happy Hour menu is available from 3-6pm and includes $10 classic cocktails and $6 draught beer.

Prix Fixe

Thursday nights are Prix Fixe - $45 per person and an optional $25 wine pairing. Thursdays are the vibe.
